Bringing the ideas of its Vision 7S concept into series production, Skoda Auto will be introducing an electric seven-seater vehicle that will top off its product range. The vehicle will be revealed in its final form most likely in summer and is being targeted at both modern families as well as those who would probably take it beyond the tarmac.
The Vision 7S concept, showcased in spring 2022, was the first vehicle from Skoda with its then new Modern Solid design language. The concept had sustainability, functional design and cutting-edge technology as its brief and also gave the outlook on a future all-electric seven-seater production model. The ‘Peaq’ name reflects its position at the top of the manufacturer’s portfolio.
While Skoda has not jumped onto the electric vehicle bandwagon in India yet, there is a possibility that it could make its debut with the Peaq and bring in lower models later. Seven-seater vehicles seem to have a good market in India and appeals to larger families. The company says the Peaq has put user-friendliness and its ‘Simply Clever’ solutions at the heart of its design.
As of now nothing has been announced about the pricing.
