Samsung is introducing important updates and new features in the audio department with the Galaxy Buds4 series. The Galaxy Buds4 Pro comes with a new cradle design, allowing you to intuitively see both buds securely stored inside. On the front, there is an LED indicator. The buds feature a sleek “blade” design crafted from premium materials, complete with a matte finish.

The silicone ear tips are designed to fit most ear sizes, and a few extra pairs are included in the box to ensure a better fit. You can wear them comfortably for longer periods of time.
The main difference lies in the overall sound quality.

There are three standard modes — Ambient Sound, Active Noise Cancellation and Adaptive Sound. The big improvement is the inclusion of a two-way speaker system and a wider woofer, made possible by reducing the bezel size by around 20 per cent. You can hear clearer mids, deeper bass and crisper highs, and it also enhances active noise cancellation by better capturing lower frequencies.

There are two new additions on the ANC front with the Buds4 Pro — Voice Detection and Siren Detection. Both can be turned on or off. The wireless earbuds can now detect head gestures, which work seamlessly when answering calls or during Bixby integration. Simply nod or shake your head to indicate “yes” or “no”. This is particularly helpful when you are walking down the street with shopping bags in both hands.

In the sound quality and effects department, there is a customised EQ with six presets, along with a custom option. There are also additional sound quality features: Ultra High Quality (UHQ) audio and Super Wide Band Speech. The former offers professional-level audio playback with up to a 96kHz sample rate, while the latter provides clearer call quality with 16kHz bandwidth. You will be listening to audio as artistes intended.

There is more. 360 Audio delivers an immersive experience. Sounds behind you, for example, will genuinely feel as though they are coming from behind.
