Samsung wants you to walk and run for a healthy tomorrow. The company has launched its fourth edition of ‘Walk-a-thon India’, a campaign designed to motivate India to get healthier and fitter because of World Heart Day.

The challenge, which kicked off on World Heart Day, September 29, will continue till October 28. What can you? Complete 200,000 steps within the 30-day period to qualify for exciting rewards.

Those who finish the challenge will be eligible for prizes. Three lucky winners will win the Galaxy Watch8, while the rest will receive discount coupons worth up to 15,000 for purchasing the new Galaxy Watch8 series. With the Walk-a-thon, Samsung aims to make fitness and heart health rewarding for everyone.

To participate, visit the Samsung Health app, which is available on Samsung Galaxy smartphones. The steps taken by the user shall be counted only from the time the user joins the challenge. Participants can monitor their progress through a real-time leaderboard within the Samsung Health app, allowing them to compare their performance and stay motivated throughout the challenge. After completing the challenge, participants need to visit the Samsung Members app to claim their reward.

Samsung Health app allows users to track a wide range of health metrics, including steps, exercise, heart rate, calorie intake, blood pressure, ECG, and sleep patterns. It is designed to promote healthy living and helps users to stay fit, track movements and habits to ensure users have accurate health information whenever they need it. On the app, users can set goals according to their level, and keep track of their daily condition, including activity amount, workout intensity, heart rate, stress, and oxygen level in the blood. Samsung Health app hosts videos of expert coaches covering fitness programmes, including stretching, weight loss, and more.
