It’s time to slip into the mood for American football, a bit of quiz show experience, a touch of whimsy and interactive life simulation this September as Apple Arcade is bringing plenty of action on September 4. New fun content on the gaming subscription service will include NFL Retro Bowl ’26, Jeopardy! Daily, and an update to Hello Kitty Island Adventure (September 18).
NFL Retro Bowl ’26

Coming just on time for the NFL season is NFL Retro Bowl ‘26 that has authentic NFL players and rosters with retro styling. In this version, there will a new Retro Bowl Championship Leaderboard that will have players compete against each other in weekly matchups, in line with the NFL schedule. The NFL- and NFLPA-licensed game will allow players choose their favourite teams and compete against each other by playing weekly matchups aligned with the 2025 NFL season games. It’s a unique mix of arcade football gameplay and real NFL stakes.

The beloved quiz show is coming across the Apple ecosystem… well, not on the Apple Watch! The game will offer “exclusive” clues crafted by the show’s writers, and players key in their responses (in the form of questions) using the keyboard on their mobile device. Players can also dive into new game boards daily, test their knowledge in unique modes, take part in weekly tournaments, and climb global leaderboards to become a Jeopardy! champion.

On September 18, it will be time for Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Players will be transported to Wheatflour Wonderland packed with stained-glass castles, and mysterious ruins.
