The upcoming hoichoi series Karma Korma, directed by Pratim D. Gupta, follows two women, Jhinuk (Sohini Sarkar) and Shahana (Ritabhari Chakraborty), whose chance encounter births a recipe seasoned with friendship, layered with emotion, and spiked with secrets that refuse to stay buried. It builds its intrigue from the moment two women from disparate worlds cross paths at a cooking workshop. What begins as an innocent bond gradually thickens into a chilling concoction of obsession, manipulation, and retribution.
The trailer teases visuals of lingering glances, shadow-filled kitchens, hands hovering over simmering pots, each frame stirring suspense as their dual narratives run parallel yet collide through the same set of ingredients. Two women, two stories, and one kitchen where every flavour carries an undertone of danger. The key visual underscores this intensity: Jhinuk and Shahana standing under a single umbrella on a rain-soaked night, their silence brimming with unspoken truths. Bathed in moody hues and drenched in tension, the frame captures a world where emotions simmer beneath the surface and trust comes at a steep price.
Bold, flavourful, and unsettling in all the right ways, the series, also starring Ritwick Chakraborty, promises a narrative where trust burns, emotions boil over, and karma is finally served with precision and cold intent. Karma Korma streams from December 12, only on hoichoi.
