It’s not often we come across a wireless keyboard designed specifically for macOS. Echelon USB-C Rechargeable Wireless Keyboard for macOS from ALOGIC feels tailor-made for those using a Mac mini or an iMac.

It’s particularly convenient for anyone who needs to move between multiple devices, as it supports three simultaneous pairings. You can switch between them seamlessly without having to pair again and again.

For those accustomed to Apple’s Magic Keyboard with the iMac, the ALOGIC offering feels reassuringly familiar. It charges via USB-C, and once powered up, it will run for weeks.

We’ve been using it for more than eight days without once needing to recharge. Equally impressive is the braided USB-C to USB-C cable included in the box. Such cables tend to last longer and resist wear and tear far better than ordinary ones.
Although the keyboard is designed for macOS, it also works with Windows, ChromeOS, Android and iOS. It features Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and, as mentioned, can toggle between three devices effortlessly.

The chalk-white colourway lends it a premium, minimalist look. It has full-size keys, complete with function buttons that double as multimedia controls. A numeric keypad is also included — essential for anyone who regularly works with spreadsheets or calculations.

Being a macOS keyboard, you’ll find the familiar ‘command’ and ‘option’ keys, along with a handy folder shortcut. The keyboard itself is comfortable to use, with short key travel and quiet, responsive action. Transitioning from an Apple keyboard takes little time. It’s particularly useful for those who use a MacBook Pro but want a full-size external keyboard at their desk with a Mac mini or iMac. Even when typing out a long document, the keys make minimal noise, making it ideal for office settings or shared spaces.

A quick comparison with Apple’s Magic Keyboard shows the ALOGIC has a similar sense of balance and weight. It may not be quite as portable, but its compact footprint makes it excellent for desktop use. The only drawback is the absence of small rear feet that flip out to raise the keyboard for a better typing angle. Otherwise, it’s easy to connect, intuitive to use, and comfortable for long hours of work.

Its biggest strength lies in multi-device support — you don’t lose any functionality when switching. Competition comes from the likes of Logitech’s MX Keys Mini, but that’s a discussion for another day. Compared with Apple’s Magic Keyboard or other professional-grade options, this is well priced, particularly when you consider its build quality.

As more offices adopt Mac mini systems, the demand for reliable third-party accessories is rising. The ALOGIC Echelon USB-C wireless keyboard (6,490) fits that niche beautifully — practical, premium, and perfectly balanced.
