Primarily a thriller, the film explores themes of adoption and motherhood, delving into a mother-daughter relationship filled with complexities. Padmapriya and Chandan Roy Sanyal
The trailer launch was attended by the cast and crew as well as members of the film fraternity on July 3 at PVR-INOX, South City. Jaya Ahsan, who plays the lead role, was already in the city shooting for another project, while actors Padmapriya, Chandan Roy Sanyal, and Anubha Fatehpuria travelled to the city for the launch. It was a joyful reunion for the ensemble cast, featuring actors from various parts of the country.
Jaya Ahsan turned up elegant in a Dhakai Jamdani sari for the trailer launch event. "Thread, a homegrown brand from Bangladesh, made this sari specially for me for today's event," said Jaya when t2 asked her about her look.
"As actors, we spend a lot of time with each other during the shooting of a film but have to eventually go back home. So, it feels great to meet all my co-actors again after so long. Many talented actors have been a part of this film. Tonyda tries to work with different combinations, and that is his speciality," she added.
