Kaif Ahmad hit a breezy 53-ball 75 and captain Anustup Majumdar scored 58 to lay the foundation for Bengal’s comfortable 70-run win over Services in their Vijay Hazare Trophy opener at the Eden on Sunday.
In reply to Bengal’s 315 for six, Services could manage only 245. Ishan Porel, Mukesh Kumar, Akash Deep and Shahbaz Ahmed took two wickets apiece for Bengal.
