According to Vinayak, IPL afford some of the biggest opportunities to cricketers, especially those playing at the Zonal level. He added that, interestingly, small town players are dominating the game and chasing their dream of play for team India A and B.
He stated that Zonal and State level games play a very important role for entry in the IPL auction.He further believes that the game today has a lot of transparency and hard working skilled players are definitely getting a chance to show case their talent in a big way.
He speculated that more than 70% of Indian players from small towns are regularly being selected for their skills alone. Everything is channelised through a procedure which allows new players to dream and pursue their passion with hard work and convert it into a profession.
He also added that academics and co-curricular activities go hand in hand, and it becomes incumbent for parents to engage their child in various activities and see what works for him or her.
He concluded on an optimistic note that he feels happy to see young guns believing in their dream and chasing it with hard work. India has. always had a good infrastructure for cricket and, once we call it ourreligion, we will be rejuvenate and the learnt he intricacies of this beautiful game.
