Woman held in fake note nexus

The number of arrests in connection with the fake currency nexus by Dergaon police in Golaghat district has gone up to five after a woman was apprehended on Monday.

The police had recovered fake notes with the face value of Rs 45,000.

Hasna Begum of Imlam Nagar in Dergaon was arrested and fake notes were recovered from her shop.

Golaghat SP Pushpraj Singh said more persons involved in the nexus would be in police net soon.
