If you’re a nail minimalist but also want a slice of pizzazz, take a cue from Jennifer Lopez. The star who just dropped her Netflix documentary Halftime recently showed off her elegant, muted manicure but her massive 8.5-carat natural green diamond engagement ring stole all the attention. The actor and singer who got engaged to Ben Affleck a few months ago, paired her immaculate, floral manicure with her maximalist ring.

 

Her nail artist Tom Bachik took to Instagram to share some details about the French Twist nails which had nude white abstracts and mini 3D flowers. “We needed to be able to match any look for her @netflix #Halftime premiere, so of course, we kept it neutral and fun in a modern & retro way  Using white in a minimalist way keeps it chic while the 3D flowers make it playful. Don’t forget to matte it to add drama!” he wrote.
