The owners of the dhaba — Samudra Bose, Mohini Bose and Rahul Singh (l-r in picture left) have come up with another project — The Bengal Lounge, situated right above the dhaba. The 4,000sq ft lounge targets the youth and anyone who loves pigging out on good food and smashing cocktails. “We were ready to open but due to the pandemic, the launch got pushed back. The idea is to offer a chill spot serving amazing food and drinks where people of our age and the likes can unwind and enjoy. The nearby stretch has no decent place to offer. We want to represent the state and be a pride to the city. This place is a gateway to the city for anyone coming from the airport and we aim to offer the best,” said Samudra.
