Pictures by Manob ChowdharyChief minister Hemant Soren flags off an Covid awareness van at the state Assembly to launch the "Apni Suraksha Apne Hath" campaign in Ranchi on Monday. The campaign is aimed at spreading awareness on Covid-19 and general hygiene among school students. As a part of the campaign, awareness programmes will be run from March 22 to March 25 in 14,500 schools across the state. Children studying in schools will be informed about all aspects related to cleanliness, mid-day meal, toilet management and hygiene. Through the awareness chariot, children will also be informed about the guidelines of the government for preventing Covid-19 transmission. Children will also be told about the importance of wearing facemasks and washing hands regularly.
