The Ranchi NDRF team on Monday fished out the body of Rajesh Kumar, 20, who drowned in Charwa Dam while bathing on Sunday. The body was found after a two-hour search.
Miner dead
Hira Lal Mandal, 27, a miner of Central Coalfields, was found hanging on Sunday night. His family blamed the “torture” of officials.
Chickens dumped
Krishna Mehta, a poultry farmer of Manjhiaon, dumped 2,000 live chickens on the banks of Koel river in view of the coronavirus scare. Asked why, Mehta said he had been forced to sell chicken for Rs 10 a kilo, down from Rs 70.
Found hanging
Lilavati Devi, 43, was found hanging at her Baridih home on Monday. She had fought with her sons over money earlier, cops said.
