BJP leader and former Union minister Vijay Goel on Tuesday affixed signage over that of Babar Road in Lutyens Delhi, renaming the street as “5 August Road”.
He said: “Babar was a foreign invader…. Tomorrow is August 5, and PM Narendra Modi is going to lay the foundation of a grand temple…. We have given the government this suggestion.”
