Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to reshuffle his Cabinet for the first time in his second term and factor in polls in five states next year and the 2024 Lok Sabha elections as he does so.
According to a report by ndtv.com, among the likely additions are Jyotiraditya Scindia, whose defection from the Congress last year helped the BJP wrest Madhya Pradesh; and Sarbananda Sonowal, who was replaced by Himanta Biswa Sarma as the new chief minister of Assam two months back.
