To encourage tourism in the Bilaspur division and to enable private and Government institutions connected to tourism activities benefit from tourism, a regional office and tourism information centre has been established in Bilaspur by the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board.
The Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, Atal Shrivastav, and other guests inaugurated the regional tourist information centre at Raghavendra Bhavan located in Pratap Chowk.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the tourism board, Atal Shrivastav, said that action will be taken while coordinating with the concerned departments for the development of basic facilities for tourists in tourist spots like Khuntaghat Reservoir, Achanakmar Sanctuary, Malhar, Tala, Ratanpur, Hasdeo Bango, Satrenga, Madkudweep, and other tourism centres.

This centre will offer all types of information related to tourism. Additionally, the regional office will encourage tourism in all districts in the Bilaspur division through the coordination of tourist activities.
Keeping in mind the limitless possibilities of tourism in the state, and for the extension of the work under the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, the Bilaspur regional office and tourism information centre will provide services like reservation of hotels/motels/resorts and information related to tourism.
It will also attract tourists by promoting the tourism of Chhattisgarh and including the tourism products of the Bilaspur division.
