12th Fail was released theatrically on October 27 last year. Following its Disney+ Hotstar debut on December 29, the movie quickly emerged as the highest-rated Indian film of all time on IMDb with a rating of 9.2 out of 10.

Surpassing some of last year's highest-grossing Hollywood films such as Barbie and Oppenheimer in terms of ratings, 12th Fail garnered praise from numerous Bollywood celebrities and filmmakers including Rohit Shetty, Deepika Padukone, and Alia Bhatt.

Based on a biography by Anurag Pathak, 12th Fail recounts the inspiring story of Manoj Kumar Sharma (Vikrant), who overcame poverty to accomplish his dream of becoming an IPS officer. In the film, Medha plays Manoj’s love interest, Shraddha Joshi.

The film also features Anant V. Joshi, Anshumaan Pushkar, and Priyanshu Chatterjee in key roles. Sharma and Joshi play cameos in the movie.
