Actress-turned-author Twinkle Khanna, who shares her birthday with her father Rajesh Khanna, posted an adorable throwback picture of the father-daughter duo to remember the late actor on his birth anniversary on December 29. Twinkle is the eldest daughter of Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia. Her younger sibling Rinke Khanna also tried her hand at acting in the early 2000s.
Dimple Kapadia was only 16 when she married a 31-year-old Rajesh Khanna, who was then at the peak of his acting career.
Dimple gave birth to Twinkle at the age of 17 on her husband’s birthday.
Twinkle had penned a heartfelt note to Rajesh Khanna on Father’s Day 2020, recalling how the late actor used to call her “Tina baba”.
