Sonam Kapoor to make her digital debut in July with JioCinema crime drama Blind

Sonam Kapoor is set to make her comeback with Shome Makhija’s JioCinema crime drama Blind, which will also be the digital debut of the 38-year-old actress, after a four-year hiatus from films.

Also featuring Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, Lilette Dubey and Shubham Saraf, Blind is a remake of the 2011 Korean film of the same name that chronicles a blind police officer’s search for a serial killer. The Hindi remake promises to portray a compelling tale of resilience and determination surrounding the central character.

Blind is set to premiere on July 7 on JioCinema.

Sonam’s last outing was the 2019 romantic comedy The Zoya Factor. She played a character who becomes the lucky charm of the Indian cricket team captain in that movie.
