Actor Prabhas has started shooting for his upcoming film with Sita Raman director Hanu Raghavapudi, the makers announced on Sunday, sharing a video of the pooja ceremony ahead of the shoot.
Both Prabhas and Hanu feature in the video as they are seen attending the ceremony at a venue decorated with flowers. Imanvi, a professional dancer, also appears in the video. She is expected to be Prabhas’ love interest in the film.
“A delightful beginning to an epic project. Highlights from the #PrabhasHanu pooja ceremony. Shoot begins soon,” Mythri Movie Makers captioned the video shared on X.
Previously, the makers had dropped a set of pictures from the pooja ceremony featuring Prabhas, Hanu and Imanvi. “The DAWN of an Epic Saga Of War, Justice and Beyond. #PrabhasHanu begins with an auspicious pooja ceremony. Shoot commences soon,” they had written in the caption.
The first-look poster of the film, dropped on Saturday, hints at an action-packed historical drama set in the 1940s. “When wars were a battle for supremacy, ONE WARRIOR redefined what they were FOUGHT for. #PrabhasHanu, a HISTORICAL FICTION set in the 1940s,” the makers wrote alongside the poster.
Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, the film also stars Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada. The music for the film will be composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar.
