Never Have I Ever star Poorna Jagannathan has joined the cast of John Watts’s untitled Apple Original Films thriller featuring Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Amy Ryan and Austin Abrams.
The thriller follows two lone-wolf fixers who get assigned to the same job. Both George and Brad are producing the thriller through their respective production companies along with Grant Heslov and Dianne McGunigle.
Poorna is currently awaiting the release of the fourth and final season of Netflix's coming of age comedy Never Have I Ever, where she plays the role of Devi Vishwakumar's (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) mother. She has been essaying the role of Dr Nalini Vishwakumar, a dermatologist and mum to the show’s main character Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrtishnan), since the start of the teen drama.
The actress has also featured in Apple TV+ series Defending Jacob, HBO drama miniseries The Night Of, HBO’s Big Little Lies and Netflix’s Messiah.
