The KLIKK web series Varanasi Junction, directed by Arnab Ringo Banerjee, is an actionpacked chase thriller set in the heart of Varanasi, where a young YouTube blogger identifies a missing girl in the news and soon finds himself becoming a target in one of the most dangerous criminal rackets. Every move of his is watched and he does not know whom to trust in a city to which he does not belong. The series stars Amrita Chattopadhyay, Jitsundar Chakravarty, Judhajit Sarkar, Ridhwish Chowdhury, Korak Samanta, Abhijit Sengupta and more.
“Varanasi Junction has been a once-in-alifetime experience for me because one got to shoot in the sacred and the most mystic ghats at night and in the early dawn break fog too. It’s an edge-ofthe-seat thriller that will keep you guessing right till the end,” said Ringo.
Amrita plays Supriya Chowdhury, a freelance journalist, working in a local portal of Varanasi. “She undertakes an assignment which further leads to something huge as the story moves forward. It’s my first time in Varanasi, and that too for a shoot. I have fallen in love with the place. We truly explored Varanasi in our shoot, we shot in many places people cannot even imagine shooting,” said Amrita.
