Agar Tum Saath Ho from Imtiaz Ali’s 2015 film Tamasha has become the most-streamed Indian song on Spotify, overtaking Kesariya from Brahmastra, data from Spotify shows.
Sung by Alka Yagnik and Arijit Singh, Agar Tum Saath Ho has accumulated more than 717 million streams on Spotify. The song, composed by A. R. Rahman and written by Irshad Kamil, featured Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the film.
According to Spotify data, the track has remained on the platform’s Top Songs chart in India for 363 weeks since entering it in June 2019. The song currently records a daily stream count of 471,396.
Kesariya, from director Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, was composed by Pritam and written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. It registered 700 million streams. It was sung by Arijit Singh.
Among other tracks on Spotify’s most-streamed list, Apna Bana Le from Bhediya ranked third with 695 million streams, followed by Tujhe Kitna Chahne Lage from Kabir Singh with 680 million streams.
Shayad from Love Aaj Kal occupied the fifth position with 555 million streams.
