The biggest trend for bridegrooms? Well, they want to be able to repeat their outfit. Amalin Datta, chief designer, Sharbari Studio, who styled these attire for the coming season, says, 'Men who come to us are conscious about wearability. They should be able to wear the wedding attire multiple times after the wedding; it’s no longer a one-time wear. So if they pick an embroidered dhuti, they will later on team it with a plain kurta. Or they could pair the wedding kurta with a churidar later. Another thing we have noticed is that the men are very body-conscious now. They no longer go for a loose kurta; it has to be all very well-fitted. And if someone is heavily-built, we do our embroidery to hide the bulge.' Gaurav Chakrabarty, who tried on these ensembles enjoyed the fit and look. 'I got married last November and I went full-on traditional for all the occasions,' he says.
