The institute began its offline classes in 2019, and then also included a digital method of teaching within six months. When asked about what inspired the founders to start Ziel Classes, Co-Founder Shina Gupta said, “I enrolled my daughter in a new school that followed the ICSE board and the transition from CBSE to ICSE was hard on her. I tried searching for reliable coaching institutes but couldn't find any that suited my daughter’s needs. I got in touch with Tanmoy, who was an established tutor at the time and the only one who managed to cover her syllabus properly and make studies easier for her. During this period, Tanmoy and I discussed our common concern about the lack of good quality tuition classes available, and that is when we decided to start a coaching institute ourselves that would help students understand their courses better. Coming from a teaching background myself, it was easy for me to understand the requirements of students and the parents.”
‘One size does not fit all’ is the philosophy that Ziel Classes follow, and keeping that in mind tries to incorporate a customised approach in education as well. A student can include any number of subjects/classes they want, they can choose their desired timings and they can also choose the teacher who best suits them after participating in a free 30-minute trial class. There are a lot of coaching institutes in the market but Ziel Classes' devotion and commitment towards providing top-notch services and customized plans for every student is what makes them stand out from the rest. Recently, they have also opened an offline pre-school that provides pre-nursery/nursery classes, along with offline activity classes for children aged between 3-12 years. Kinder Haus, the pre-school, and Kinder Activ, the activity classes are both registered brands under the ZIEL umbrella.
Talking about their journey, a software engineer turned educator, Tanmoy Saha, Co-founder of Ziel Classes, told that “In 2019, we started classes with the sole purpose of providing a good, proper education. We tried making Ziel Classes a happy place where students come to understand the joy of learning. From the very beginning, I’ve tried to teach by simplifying complicated stuff and that is the same approach we follow at Ziel Classes. Even in 2020, when the world was under lockdown, our online classes gained momentum and more people started liking our model of customized classes. We are so happy that we are able to make so many students fall in love with their studies instead of disliking the process.”
