GAIL has chalked out plans to start various hydrocarbon infrastructure projects after the lockdown ends, giving priority to high-pressure natural gas pipelines, including the Urja Ganga project connecting north and east India.

Graded measures in the short-to medium-term will be rolled out on April 20.

“GAIL, along with its subsidiary and JV companies, has chalked out catch-up plans for various locations and work fronts to ensure timely completion,” said a GAIL statement.

Key stake holders have been informed about the current developments as well as the proposed line of action.
