Even after the curtain has come down on Durga Pujo, the essence of festivity refuses to fade.
The bustling streets, the queues before pandals, the thrill of pandal-hopping, all of it spoke volumes about Durga Pujo’s grandeur, the greatest celebration of Bengal.
This time, it wasn’t just the majestic theme pujos or the age-old community pujos that stood out. The housing complex pujos of Kolkata, too, gave them stiff competition with their own unique ideas, decorations, and cultural programmes.
Adding a new dimension to this festive experience was anandabazar.com’s ‘Abasoner Singhasane’ 2025, a platform dedicated to finding the best housing complex pujos in the city. Over 200 pujos from across Kolkata and Salt Lake joined the contest this year, making it a true celebration of community and creativity. After the preliminary shortlisting of 20 complexes, the esteemed jury carefully evaluated every detail to select the top 10.
