Trainer S. Padmanabhan’s Mauritania (David Allan-up) is expected to take some beating in the 1,200m Sprinters’ Cup, Saturday’s feature event. The Sprint event is a major part of the Invitational weekend, beginning Saturday. The afternoon’s card also includes, the 3,000m Dr. MAM Ramaswamy Stayers’ Cup; which bears an open look. 
The main contestants in the race are Raees (Y.S.Srinath), Kambaku (Neeraj Rawal) and Watchmyscript (A. Sandesh) but the first named horse if capable of taking all by a surprise.
