Calcutta: Trainer Bharath Singh’s long-shot, Agnostic (Hindu Singh-up) took an easy measure of Christopher Alford’s less-fancied runner Eastwood (P.S. Chauhan) in the 1,400m Calcutta Colts Trial Stakes, here, on Friday. The Fillies’ Trial Stakes was, however, claimed by the public choice, Scruples (Trevor Patel) – trained by the Bangalore-based trainer S.S. Attaollahi.
