Srinath-up), took a narrow measure of her fancied rivals in the 2,400m Indian Turf Invitation Cup, the feature event at the Hyderabad races on Sunday. Ridden well off the pace; until the home-turn, Srinath brought the 8/1 chance, 12 horses wide into the straight to beat Desert God (D. Allan), country’s highest stake-money winner, and the runaway winner of the Indian Derby, Star Superior (Suraj Narredu).
