The Maharashtra State Board of Skill, Vocational Education, and Training (MSBSVET) has partnered with the Mumbai-based Tata Institute of Social Sciences School of Vocational Education (TISS-SVE). The TISS School of Vocational Education aims to offer cutting-edge vocational education programmes for the academic year 2023–2024 as part of the collaboration.

The official statement read: "TISS-SVE and MSBSVET have joined forces to offer comprehensive programmes that cater to the diverse needs of students and the evolving job market." This acknowledges the significance of vocational education in providing people with practical skills and improving their employability.

  • The Bachelor of Vocational Degree (BVoc) programme is meant to give students in-depth information and practical experience in particular vocational sectors. This degree curriculum places a strong emphasis on developing knowledge in fields that are in great demand by businesses, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared for prosperous employment.
  • Additionally, TISS-SVE and MSBSVET provide a selection of diploma degrees that give students specialised knowledge in a number of professional fields. These diploma programmes are made to give students hands-on experience and knowledge of the industry, preparing them to succeed in their chosen sectors.
