A total of 6,281 vacancies are slated to be filled in the upcoming year through a series of competitive examinations. The TN TRB aims to address the growing demand for qualified educators across various disciplines.

The recruitment drive kicks off with the anticipated advertisement for Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT) in January, projecting an examination date in April. This specific initiative aims to fill 1,766 vacancies, catering to the crucial need for educators in the state.

Next on the agenda is the recruitment notification for Assistant Professors in Government Arts and Science Colleges and Colleges of Education, expected in February. The examination for 4,000 vacancies is scheduled for June, offering ample opportunities for candidates seeking roles in higher education.

Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2024 is expected to conduct Paper 1 and Paper 2 in July, with the notification slated for April. This crucial examination serves as a gateway for aspiring teachers to meet the eligibility criteria.

The announcement further outlines plans for the Post Graduate Assistants recruitment, set to release in May for 200 vacancies. The examination is penciled in for August, marking another opportunity for qualified individuals to contribute to the education sector.

The Chief Minister Research Fellowship (CMRF 2024) is anticipated to release its notice in June, with the examination tentatively scheduled for September. This prestigious fellowship program offers 120 opportunities for dedicated scholars to engage in advanced research.

Later in the year, the SCERT Senior Lecturers, Lecturers, and Junior Lecturers examination, with 139 total vacancies, is expected to unfold in December. The notice for this examination is projected to be released in September, providing candidates with ample preparation time.

Looking ahead to 2025, the TN TRB has tentatively scheduled the recruitment examination for Assistant Professors in Government Law Colleges and Assistant Professors in Pre Law for February. The notification for 56 vacancies is anticipated in November, offering a glimpse into future opportunities.

TN TRB emphasises that the planner is tentative, allowing candidates to prepare diligently for the upcoming examinations. The board acknowledges the possibility of additions and deletions to the outlined schedule.
