TN MRB Recruitment 2024 Aims to Fill 2553 Posts; Check Important Details Here

The Tamil Nadu Medical Services Recruitment Board (TN MRB), in an official notification released recently, has invited applications to fill up 2553 vacancies for Assistant Surgeon (General) posts. Interested candidates will be able to submit their applications online through the official website - mrb.tn.gov.in. The application window will remain live from April 24 to May 15, 2024.

Upper Age Limit (as of 01.07.2024)

• SC/ST/MBC&DNC/BC/BCM - 59 years
• Others - 37 years
• Differently Abled - 47 years
• Ex-Servicemen - 50 years

Qualification

1. Candidates should possess an MBBS or equivalent degree approved by the Medical Council of India from a UGC recognised institute/university.
2. A registered practitioner under the Madras Medical Registration Act, 1914.
3. A house surgeon (CRRI) for not less than twelve months.
4. Candidates should also have their names registered in the Tamil Nadu Medical Council on or before the last date of the notification.

Application Fee

Candidates belonging to the general and other categories will have to pay ₹1000, whereas, the SC/ST/SCA/DAP(PH) category will pay a reduced amount of ₹500 as their application fee.
