The achievements of several of the institute’s alumni who have achieved remarkable heights were also recognised at the award ceremony and honoured them showcasing the institute’s role in shaping not only the academic journey of the students, but their professional journey as well.

The Chief Guest for the event was Nitin Jain, Co-founder and CBO at OfBusiness. The events also witnessed the presence of distinguished guests like Elizabeth Lee, Director of the American Centre, Kolkata, and Public Affairs Officer of the U.S. Consulate General in Kolkata, Indrajit Bhalotia, Professional Golfer and Director at Protouch Sports, Sanjeev Nandwani, Former Civil Servant and Strategic Advisor and Hemant Mediratta, Chief Empowerment Officer of HMC, Founder of One Rep Global, and Chief Advisor, Leela Palace Hotels and Resorts.

The event also witnessed the grand launch of Draupnir Capital Incubation Centre at the iLEAD campus to support young start-ups, with a special focus on iLEAD graduates. It is the first of its kind in Eastern India, offering end-to-end advisory services to entrepreneurs.

The incubation centre will provide resources, capital, intellectual property and administrative assistance to foster the growth of budding entrepreneurs.
Speaking at the event, Prem Anup Sinha, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India (SBI) congratulated iLEAD for the opening of Draupnir Capital Incubation Centre where entrepreneurs can get some advisory on their start up.

“The Draupnir Capital Incubation Center is a step towards furthering entrepreneurship amongst students powered by SBI. This will mean access to capital mentorship and an ecosystem to students and alumni of iLEAD to turn their innovative ideas into profitable businesses,” said Pragya Chopra, Executive Director of iLEAD.
