Sauraseni wears the ultimate party shirt dress

Party dressing in summer doesn’t have to be difficult if you’re shopping right. Sauraseni Maitra just sported a chic emerald green draped shirt ensemble by Jyotee Khaitan. The long dress is cinched at the waist with a skinny belt and the drapes give it a sari-like silhouette. Since long gowns don’t always work for the summer evening wear memo, something this trendy can easily be styled for a cocktail look.

Shirt dresses are also great for layering and sleeve play which can be very dramatic. Sauraseni keeps things simple with gold hoops and some chic pearl bangles. However, you can bring in some interesting boho jewellery into the mix, maybe some silver chains or chunky necklaces and bangles. And don’t forget the stiletto!
