House of Khaddar, founded by veteran actor Kamal Haasan with his stylist and designer Amritha Ram, just made some waves at the Paris Fashion Week recently with her Spring/Summer line Warp and Weft. “This is our perspective of sustainable fashion-which is imagined in the studio and created in the atelier, but it is on the street that it becomes alive and real, meeting the imperfection of existence, day after day, lit by the unique identity of the wearer,” Ram shared on Instagram.

The varsity jacket trend gets a fantastic makeover with House of Khaddar’s khaddar denim. “One of our signature styles this season Is the Varsity jacket, also called the Letterman jacket, the varsity style dates as far back as the 1930s and the patches-emblazoned jacket traditionally symbolised the initials of the school or establishment an athlete represented here too represents the university of movies,” the designer wrote.
