A glimpse into the making of Anik Dutta’s 'Aparajito'

We can’t wait for this one

Anik Dutta’s next explores the creative process of one of his long-time idols, Satyajit Ray. His tribute film Aparajito has been making waves in the last few days. The film is loosely based on Ray’s journey of making Pather Panchali. It features actor Jeetu Kamal in the role of a fictional filmmaker named Aparajito Ray who is working on his passion project, which is a film named Pather Podaboli. 

The makers have dropped a featurette on YouTube which pulls back the curtains on Ray’s life and early days of his career, starting from his stint as a visualiser for an advertising agency, to the filming of his award-winning debut feature. The 3:22 minute video is a treat for all Ray fans.
