M. Night Shyamalan’s next promises a thrilling film about a serial killer

The master of twisted endings is back! The second trailer of M. Night Shyamalan’s Trap marries a promising premise with a scathing score, teasing a gripping drama. The film stars Josh Hartnett as a serial killer, who has brought his daughter to popstar Lady Raven’s concert (played by Shyamalan’s daughter, Saleka), only to realise that the cops have set a trap at the venue to catch him. The short clip gives us a glimpse into the meticulous trap laid towards the serial killer, as he tries to escape from 30,000 fans and 300 cops with barely any hope of finding the light. If you’re into convoluted dramas, make sure to catch this film in theatres on August 2.
