The LOTR prequel just dropped a trailer!

We can't wait for this one!

Prime Video just dropped the trailer for the much-anticipated prequel series The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power. The eight-part series will chronicle The Second Age of J.R.R. Tolkien's fantasy world, thousands of years before the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The series essentially works as an origin tale for the mythical rings which would go on to become crucial to Middle Earth’s trajectory. 

The series will feature both new characters and younger versions of familiar characters from The Lord of the Rings, like Aragorn’s ancestor Isildur (Maxim Baldry), Arwen’s father King Elrond (Robert Aramayo) and more.

The series drops on Prime Video this September
