Jenny Hans fans rejoice! There’s a new rom-com heading your way to fill the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before-shaped void in your heart. Han’s best-selling YA novel The Summer I Turned Pretty has been adapted into a film and will premiere this June on Prime Video.
The film follows young Belly (Lola Tung) on her yearly summer beach trip where she finds herself attracted to the sons of her mum’s friend. Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) are different and yet share great chemistry with Belly. As her mother (Rachel Blanchard) scores Belly an invitation to become a debutante, she must choose between the two brothers if she wants a date for her ball.
