The CEO of a media conglomerate looks for a successor from his family. That may sound serious but Succession is a comedy drama. It is a satire on the delusional lives that the wealthy lead. Apart from tight writing, it has huge production values (think helicopters and private jets in every alternate episode) and a brilliant score. The show is downright hilarious even as it holds up a mirror to the idiosyncrasies and quirks of the characters who bear striking resemblance to real-life billionaires.
