‘The Elder Scrolls Online’ expansion teaser

The cinematic trailer explores a never-seen-before Tamriel

Bethesda Softworks has just released the teaser trailer for The Elder Scrolls Online 2022 expansion, which is set in a seemingly new region. The Elder Scrolls Online is an MMORPG spin-off of Bethesda's single-player Elder Scrolls outings. The teaser suggests that the multiplayer, role-playing game will feature a new storyline set in a coastal city (probably Tamriel’s North-western region High Rock). The teaser also hints that the show will focus on Bretons (since High Rock is their home province) and shows three ships that may represent the three factions in The Elder Scrolls Online. 

“Across a vast sea awaits 2022’s newest adventure for The Elder Scrolls Online. The coming year will satisfy a desire of Elder Scrolls fans everywhere by introducing a never-before-seen world and a tale that has yet to be told,” the developers ZeniMax Online Media said in a statement. 

The Elder Scrolls Online 2022 expansion will be revealed on January 27 via Twitch.
