‘Suspicion’ trailer

Uma Thurman and Kunal Nayyar? This already has our attention

Apple TV Plus just dropped a trailer for Suspicion, an eight-episode limited series starring Uma Thurman and The Big Bang Theory star Kunal Nayyar, alongside Noah Emmerich and Elizabeth Henstridge. The show is a remake of the Israeli drama False Flag. Thurman plays an American entrepreneur whose son is abducted at a hotel. An suspenseful search ensues as fellow visitors struggle to prove their innocence. The show’s official synopsis promises a ‘trans-Atlantic cat and mouse race to evade the combined forces of the National Crime Agency and the FBI.’

The taut 2:15 minute is well-paced but doesn’t give away a lot of plot points. Thurman is on the roster for another big small-screen outing this year. The Kill Bill star plays Huffington Post co-founder Arianna Huffington in the Showtime series Super Pumped, which tracks the rise and fall of Uber’s controversial Travis Kalanick.

Suspicion premieres on February 4.
