Sneak peek into ‘Bridgerton’ S2 on Netflix

There's a new character of Indian origin... and that’s the tea!

It is time to take in the whirlwind romance, gossip and fashion of Bridgerton, because Netflix has just dropped a sneak peak into the new season — set to release in 2022. With Daphne and Simon getting all the love they ever wanted, the last season ended with her giving birth to an heir. But this season seems to be about a new character, Miss Kate Sharma, played by Simone Ashley (who also played Ruby’s bff in Sex Education). While we can’t wait to see all the tea spilled about the new characters, it is great to see Indian representation on a British show with Austenian vibes. The character Kate can be seen voicing her opinions about how men treat women like “chattels and breeding stock” and how all women have the right to choose their partners as well! And to that we say, Hallelujah!
