Sunday classics: Riddhi and Ushasi unite for a Q/A and make ‘jhalmuri’

What a fun idea for game nights!

We love a good celebrity Q/A but we love it even more when there’s jhalmuri in the mix! Riddhi Sen and Ushasi Ray, who star together in the new web series Sundarbaner Vidyasagar, recently got together for a fun Q/A session where they made jhalmuri to answer their questions. The premise may sound confusing but it’s a hoot! The stars were asked how the other person would react in a situation and the ingredients they picked represented individual emotions. For instance, boiled potatoes represented sharing, while coconuts represented calmness.

On the show, Riddhi plays a young man named Kinkor, who finds himself in Sundarban’s Kumirkhali, where he has to grapple with social issues and outsider forces that are looking to commodify the village’s resources.
