Paper Girls can be the new Stranger Things!

Time travelling is peak streamable content

Looking to fill the Stranger Things-shaped void in your life? Paper Girls is here to help out! The upcoming series is based on Brian K. Vaughan and Cliff Chiang's Image Comics series of the same name and just dropped its first trailer. The series set in the late eighties, follows four friends, KJ (Fina Strazza), Erin (Riley Lai Nelet), Mac (Sofia Rosinsky), and Tiffany (Camryn Jones) who also deliver paper and get caught in a fight between feuding time travelling factions.

In the last year, several OTT shows have resorted to the time travelling trope. Besides Stranger Things, superhero shows like Loki and The Umbrella Academy, too have used the motif successfully. It’s yet to be seen if Paper Girls fares well, but the trailer does promise a rollicking adventure!
