'The Sandman' is here to save your Sunday
The much-awaited series is getting rave reviews

Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman has long been deemed one of the most unfilmable comic outings in the history of pop culture. But the Netflix adaptation of the seminal series seems to have delivered a visual masterpiece if the reviews are to be believed. Based on the comic series published by DC Comics in 1989, The Sandman follows Morpheus (Tom Sturridge), the King of Deams, as he tries to rebuild his kingdom after being imprisoned by humans for a century.
Morpheus is one of many siblings (often known as the Endless) who rule over the realm of humanity. So while you have Death (Kirby Howell-Baptiste), you also have the twins of Desire (Mason Alexander Park) and Despair (Donna Preston). Each of the ten episodes corresponds to specific comic issues, so longtime Gaiman readers will find it easy to keep up. So, this Sunday, make a date with The Sandman!
