Netflix’s new dramedy ‘On the Verge’

Get-set-go on a binge-watch ride with Julie Delpy and friends

Oscar-nominated writer and actor Julie Delpy has written and directed Netflix’s new dramedy On the Verge where she also stars as the free-spirited Justine. Set two months before the pandemic outbreak, the 12-episode show follows four middle-aged women — a chef, a single mum, a job-hunter and an heiress — who navigate midlife crises, marital conflicts, professional hurdles among other things. Shot between the first and second waves of the Covid-19 pandemic, the show’s final episodes address the realities of urban life amid a global health crisis.

The first season was released on September 6, 2021 and also stars Alexia Landeau, Elisabeth Shue, and Sarah Jones. Grab your nearest BFF and a pint of ice cream before you start streaming!
