Netflix unveils first look of ‘The Sandman’

The legendary DC comic book is getting its own series

In 1989, Neil Gaiman created a revolutionary comic book series for DC that combined iconic visuals with stimulating plotlines and made an indelible mark in graphic novel subculture. 

Now, Netflix is attempting to crack the code of creating a visual adaptation of the famed comic, The Sandman, after multiple failed attempts by various other creators. 

The streaming giant released a first look of the live-action TV show, with Allan Heinberg at the helm. Barely longer than a minute, the clip seems to promise an enthralling fantasy-drama with a production to match. 

With Gaiman himself serving as one of the executive producers of the show, we can’t wait to see how this adaptation makes the comic book come alive.
